When you first log into Kashoo on your iPhone you will be taken to main navigation page. To customize Kashoo you need to enter the Settings area.
Tap on the Gear icon in the top right-hand corner
Tap Settings.
This is where you can:
- Upload a logo
- Update your Business contact information
- Choose your invoice template
- Create a footer to go on your invoice
- Set up a passcode to secure Kashoo
- Set up taxes
- Remove your business
Upload a Logo
The logo will be populated onto all the invoices that you send from your iPhone.
NOTE
Please note that any invoices that you send from the web app will need to be configured directly on the web.
- Tap on the + icon
- Select the Photo area on you have saved your logo in
- Tap back to the main Settings page
Update your Business contact information
The information that you input in this area is synced to the Business Settings area of the web app. This information is used to populate the key parts of your invoices.
- Tap on your Business Name and you will enter the edit mode
- Input the information that is relevant to your business
- Tap back to the main Settings page
- Tap Save
Choose your invoice template
There are 5 invoice templates that you can choose on the iPhone.
NOTE:
The invoice templates on the iOS apps are different than on the web, so you will want to set those up separately if you send invoices through the web.
- Tap on Invoices
- Swipe through the options and tap on the one you want to select, there should be a blue check mark in the bottom-right of the screen
- Tap back to the main Settings page
- Tap Save
Create a footer to go on your invoice
You may want to create a footer on your invoice so that every invoice you send out has a message that is specific to your business. This might be as simple as 'Thanks for your business', your payment terms or even how to send you an epayment.
- On the Select Invoice screen tap the gear icon in the top right corner
- Input your message
- Tap back to the Select Invoice area
- Tap Save
Set up a passcode to secure Kashoo
The Kashoo app stays logged in unless you specifically log out. There are cases where your device is shared across multiple people and you want to ensure that your accounting data is protected. Once the PIN is activated, attempts to open the Kashoo app will be subject to the Require PIN rules you have set.
- Tap Passcode
- Set New PIN
- Set the Require PIN option
- Tap back to the main Settings page
- Tap Save
Set up Taxes
Many small businesses have to charge sales taxes for goods and services sold. When the tax settings are properly set up, Kashoo will track the sales taxes for you when you sell goods and services as well as tracking sales taxes you have paid on expenses.
- Tap Taxes
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner
- Fill in the Name, Rate and other information that is relevant to you
- Tap Save
- Tap back to the main Settings page
- Tap Save
Remove your business
You can remove your business from the device you are working on and all the data associated with it.
If your subscription is through iTunes you will need to cancel your subscription. In order to cancel your Kashoo account with Apple, please follow Apple's instructions below on either your iOS device, Mac or PC:
