Home > Settings > Connect banks

Click on the + Add Bank Account link to begin.

In most of the world, Kashoo's secure banking interface is a streamlined experience that lets you either select from a list of the most popular banks in your country, or use the search to locate your financial institution.

In Canada and the US, Kashoo uses Plaid to help you connect your financial accounts to their businesses. Once you agree to their user privacy policy, Plaid will get you going quickly.

Regardless of the interface, Kashoo will securely connect with your bank. Your bank will require you to verify your access by using your account credentials. Depending on the financial institution, you may be asked for secondary authentication.

Once the connection is made, you will choose the individual accounts you would like to connect and import by selecting which Kashoo Account (COA account) will be associated with this bank account; each bank account must be associated with a unique COA account. If there are accounts that you would prefer not to link to your business, do not specify a Kashoo account. Click on the name field to change the display name if you like. Click on the Save button when you are finished and Kashoo will import transactions as far back as your bank will provide, back to your business’ Kashoo Transaction Start Date. Click on the View Transactions link to see them.

If your bank does not provide transactions that far back, you can backfill transactions using your transaction files downloaded from your bank.

To exit the Settings pages at any time, click the X in the upper right.
